Dammu movie was released on April 27th 2012. The film features Jr. Ntr, Trisha Krishnan, Karthika Nayar in lead roles, Banu Priya, Nazar and Suman in supporting roles. The film directed by Boyapati Srinu after the huge success of Simha movie. The film produced by KS Ramarao under Creative Commercials banner and music composed by MM Keeravani. The film has received average reviews from critics and also from reguler audience. The film has collected more than eight crores in opening day, Dammu was the top first day grosser on that time. The film has collected 25 crore in week one and thirty five crores in final run. Dammu was not executed well at box office when comparing to Boyati previous film Simha.
