Tamil movie Mass dubbed into telugu as the Rakshasudu, This film was released 550 plus screens in Both Andhra and Telamgana region, Rakshasudu has big release than Mass(Tamil version). In Tamilnadu, it was released in 430 screens only , it shows Suriya's craze in Telugu speaking states .
Story: MadhuSudan alias mass (Suriya) and his friend Premji are the cheaters, They makes robberies. One day they both have met one serious accident, In this accident Mass friend has died. After this accident he had a power to see the ghosts. Ghosts are trying to solve their problems with Mass. Mass is earning money as the Ghost buster by using his power of ghosts. In this process Mass has seen Siva(Suriya another role) a super intellectual ghost . Siva wants to revenge on his rivals by using the Mass help . Mass is not interested about Siva until he knows the truth that is Siva is his father. How Mass has solved his problem is remaining story.
Performences: We all know that Suriya is the finest actor. Suriya did excellent job as both Mass and Siva(ghost) characters, Variation in both the characters managed well. In emotional scenes Suriya acting was outstanding. His looks more stylish in this film. Premji doing his part good in supporting role. Nayanatara and praneetha has seen in limited roles only.
Technical Department: Director Venkat Prabhu came up different genre film, he was succeeded in making of reverse screen play. Visual effects not up to mark. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed average songs . Background music was impressive. Cinematography was good.

Final point: Actor Suriya and Director Venkat Prabhu tried new genre drama and succeeded to got attention from Audience. First of the film filled with comedy and interesting scenes, second half of the film contains some emotional scenes. Overall Rakshsudu is the pure entertainer without any vulgarity. Families and children will like this film.
