Venkatesh has always relied on remake projects and the talented actor has always scored hits with his remakes more than straight movies. The actor now only looks at remakes as he believes they are producer safe. From Chanti to Sundarakanda to Vasantham to Bodyguard to Masala to Gopala Gopala the list of his remakes is endless. Or we can say at least a third of his movies would have been remakes only.
His two of the recent films, Drushyam and also Gopala Gopala were also remakes and now Venky is eyeing on remaking recent hit "Baskara the rascal" . As per reports producer Suresh Babu bought the remake rights of the film and it will soon hit floors.The movie may see Nayantara playing the female lead. Venky and Nayanthra were earlier paired up Lakshmi and Tulasi.
