Outcome of Revanth Reddy’s Bail petition
The Hyderabad High Court posted the hearing of bail petition of MLA A. Revanth Reddy, who was lodged in prison
for last three weeks in cash for vote case, to Friday. The ACB officials filed a counter petition in court and sought four days' time as they are yet to get key reports regarding the case.
Hence the High Court adjourned Revanth Reddy's bail petition hearing to Friday, i.e., June .26th. ACB requested time till Monday but the Court granted permission of two days and asked ACB to file counter before Friday.Now what is interesting here is what additional information has the ACB got as it said to the court!
Revanth Reddy, TDP's deputy leader in the Telangana assembly, was arrested by the ACB on May 31 while he was offering Rs.50 lakh to nominated member Elvis Stephenson.The ACB also arrested two aides of Reddy in a trap laid on a complaint by Stephenson.
