If you are favourite of TV serial Sanjivani- A Medical Boon, there's some sad news for you. Dr. 'Umesh' Omi Joshi, the character played by none other than popular TV actor, Sanjit Bedi has passed away yesterday succumbing to a brain ailment.
Bedi was suffering from brain virus following which he was in coma for some time. The actor is survived by his wife. The actor was most known for his role as Dr Omi Joshi in Sanjeevani that aired on Star One in 2004
Apart from Sanjivani He was also seen in other shows like Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka, Kasauti Zindagii Kay, Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman and Jaane Kya Baat Hui. His funeral took place at 11 AM at the Chandanwadi
crematorium, Marine Lines.
The TV fraternity is in a state of shock after his sudden demise and have been posting their grievances on Twitter. Sanjit was married to Rekha Bhatia.We wish his wish family all the strength in this world to deal with the loss. May his soul rest in peace.
